Rhia Weinhaus
Rhia Weihaus, an open water instructor, has been diving since 1991, and was originally certified in the cold water of the Puget Sound, off of the Washington state coast. Her personal love for diving pushed her on to attain her PADI Dive Master certification, and then Open Water Instructor with both SSI and SDI. She will soon complete her SDI Course Director certification, as she has taught many divers, and trained other dive professionals, over her time as an instructor. Rhia's love for diving is always inspiring her to go new places and show more people the incredible sights our oceans have hidden beneath the waves.
Rory Myers
Rory was certified by Rhia, and did so in the cold water of the Puget Sound, completing her drysuit certification the same weekend. Her passion for diving led her to begin the Dive Master program, and she has entered an internship with OTR. As she goes through the specialty courses for Dive Master, she excels at her internship responsibilities - from learning how to safely and thoroughly inspect and service equipment, to serving as an attentive dive professional on bustling dive boats, Rory does it all with her signature patience and perseverance.
Brigit Grimm
Brigit has been taking photos since she was a child, knowing even early on that she was especially attracted to wildlife and landscapes. Later, as she earned degrees in zoology and marine science, and developed skills in SCUBA diving, hiking, climbing, and adventure traveling in the great outdoors all around the world, her skills as a photographer also grew. Her hope is to capture the beauty and joy of her adventures so that others can feel that joy as well.
Kevin Pannell
Kevin is a alumni of the Valhalla Dive Training Program. He is currently in the Dive Assistant Instructor program thru SDI. He is assisting with training thru scubameatllc, Adventure Sports and is the founder of Mouth Breathers dive club.
Gina Granato
Gina has been diving for 20 years and has been working with Rhia for 14 years. We have been diving from Hoodsport, WA to Cozumel, Lembeh Indonesia and various warm and cold water spots along the way. She is currently working as my webmaster and has now taken on the job of cultural and environmental ambassador.
Gerty Kelly
Gerty had her first “Try Scuba” session when she was 8 years old. At 10 years old she was certified junior ranger. She has specialties certificates for night and navigation diving and Reef Renewal Coral diver. She has dove in Bonaire, Cozumel and Fiji and has worked on reef renewal in all those locations. She graduated from Rachel Carson Environmental Middle School. She did science experiments on the hazards of sunscreen on the reefs; planted coral in Bonaire and raised thousands of dollars for the coral reef renewal project. She is the youth and environmental ambassador for Scubameat LLC.
